Coleman Accy Rainfly Instant 8 Person Tent Accessory

I have been waiting for this rainfly to be back in stock for months. The very first time I went camping with it, it rained. It worked just great execept for one flaw in the design. If you look at the photo of this tent with the rain fly on it, you will notice that the base of the tent extends outward. What that means is that whenever you open the door flap to enter or exit, the water on the rainfly drips onto the floor of the tent.

This could have been easily avoide by the addition of a small awning or extension from the fly which would have caused the water to fall outside the tent rather than into it. I put an old rug just inside to door to catch the runoff and by removing our shoes at this point we don't track mud or water into the tent. I love this tent, and am still happy to have the rainfly in spite of the problem I have described.
